Slate Café
When six, self-proclaimed coffee snobs sit down to dinner you know something amazing is going to happen. That’s exactly how Slate Café came to be in 2015. Fast forward to today and this Bennett Springs establishment is serving up some of the area’s best food and coffee. Slate Café’s unique, Asian-fusion menu is brimming with fresh, seasonal produce and will leave you wanting to return to try every single dish! The family and dog friendly venue is situated on sprawling, lush green lawns and features an epic outdoor playground for the kids, picnic area, deck space for outdoor dining and plenty of cosy indoor spaces too. Willing Coffee
If there’s one thing cyclists know, it’s coffee. For the lycra clad, caffeine enthusiasts, Willing Coffee in Guildford is a local icon. Owned by former Australian track-cycling champion and property developer, Tim Willing, this café is a must for anyone who appreciates specialty coffee. Serving up brews by local WA roasters, a cabinet full of delicious pastries, sweets and energising protein snacks are available to fuel the ride home. For those not on 2 wheels, Willing Coffee is just a 12 minute drive from Flamewood and four-legged friends are welcome too. Yahava KoffeeWorks
A little closer to home in the Swan Valley is coffee lovers heaven, Yahava KoffeeWorks. Home to an impressive roastery, Koffee and Tea Shed and Kafé, this is perfect for those wanting to learn more about the coffee roasting process. So, if you’ve ever wondered how coffee goes from bean to cup, this is the place to go! Start your coffee adventure at the Tasting Bench then make your way to the Roastery, explore the wonderful world of coffee and tea at the Koffee or Tea Shed before stopping for a brew and a bite to eat at Yahava’s Kafé. The crew at Miss Me Café believe “a good life starts with a good coffee” and we couldn’t agree more. Excellent coffee with a view is on the menu here at Miss Me Café which is perched overlooking the water in Aveley.
