School Holiday Fun in Flamewood
The school holidays are a-calling and with the recent lifting of restrictions, now is the time to get out and about with the kids and explore the beautiful surrounds of Flamewood Estate. With the picturesque Swan Valley on your doorstep, there is so much to do for all ages and interests. So, don the gumboots and raincoats and head to the Swan Valley Visitor’s Shop to pick up a map and discover all that this beautiful region has to offer.
Take a hike
There are a number of beautiful walking trails to be found along the scenic Swan River that make for a fun and active day out with the family. Home to the iconic Avon Descent, the Bells Rapids Walk Trail offers an abundance of wildlife and an easy walking terrain to navigate. The world-renowned Avon Descent returns to Bells Rapids in August this year so see if you can catch the paddlers amongst the rapids as they train and prepare for this year’s event.
Marvel at local birds and wildlife along the Noble Falls Walk Trail (and indulge in a delicious family friendly pub lunch afterwards) or soak up the natural beauty of the diverse collection of wildflowers and plants along the Wandoo Heights Walk Trail where you’ll find plenty of stunning Australian natives.
